Annual Registration:
$20 for each boy is due to Den leaders by January 1, 2005.

Treasurer Report Recap:
Lloyd Snyder was not present to wrap up Wreath/Popcorn/Bake Sale numbers.

Scouting For Food:
We discussed a possible food drive in the spring, perhaps tied in with Raingutter Regatta.
Hannaford no longer provides bags to BSA. Shaw’s may support our effort. We may ask the stores if we can place a box in their lobbies where shoppers may place donations of non-perishables.

Awards:
Awards are due to Jim Hall by December 17.

Wreath Sales Update:
We need a complete summary of 2004 activities for use in 2005.

Popcorn Sales Update:
We need a complete summary of 2004 activities for use in 2005.

Overnight Trip:

Overnight Trip will be June 11.

The trip to the Battleship is still on.
We’re planning on over forty-five participants.
   

Leaf Raking At Hunnewell House:
We need a complete summary, please.

Blood Drive Update:
Pack 47’s blood drive will be Saturday, February 12, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, at Saint Nicholas Church on Route 1.
Cathy Fitzgerald has submitted the paperwork. The MMC Blood Donor Center will provide logistical details about how to sign up donors.
The boys will help at the canteen.
The Blood Center will make a donation to The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at MMC based on the number of donors who present and donate.

Blue & Gold Banquet:
A committee has begun work on planning this annual event. The committee is Cathy Fitzgerald, Cherrie Sackville, Tracy Littlefield, Kerrie Snyder, and Susie DeGrinney.
In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Boy Scouts, we’ll have a birthday party theme.
The Wentworth gym and cafeteria are reserved for the evening, with partiers to arrive at 5:30 PM.
Entertainment during the pizza party will be Brandon Baines and Dana Bennett. They will demonstrate their yo yo prowess.
Jim Hall needs pictures for the slide show ASAP. If you have any, please contact him or Cathy Fitzgerald about how to send them.
Heidi Leinonen and Cathy will talk about Friends of Scouting at the banquet. We’ll also have the annual cake contest (with Hoodsie cups). In the Gym will be a popcorn machine, face painting, moon bounce, helium for balloons, balloon animal making.
Each boy will receive the official 75th birthday patch.
Posterboard will be provided to each Den so the boys can make posters. They’ll need to research what was happening in the world 75 years ago to do so. These will be displayed at the banquet.
Sam Cushing will bring his history of Scouting display as well.

Friends Of Scouting (FOS) Participation:
We have not yet decided between a percentage donation, flat donation, or allowing a presentation by the organization.
Sam’s Den will do a skit in January, and Heidi and Cathy will share information at the Blue & Gold Banquet. Brian Hazelwood will do a presentation in March.

January Pack Meeting:
Opening: Den 12

Sharing: Den 11
Summer Day Camp: Missy Bell.

Pinewood Derby:
The Pinewood Derby will be March 5.
Den leaders should get their Derby cars from Cathy Fitzgerald.
Status of committee to establish setup, food, logistics.
Martha Davoli volunteered to organize people to help with bake sale, popcorn machine, etc. Heidi has already volunteered to help.
Cathy will contact Chrissy Wood to handle hot-dogs.
The boys can invite a friend to attend for an hour to see the fun.

Raingutter Regatta:
Raingutter Regatta will be June 4.
Committee members are needed!

Publicity:
Martha volunteered to send Blood Drive and other event information to The Scarborough Leader, The Current, radio stations, Scarborough Community TV, etc.
