It is hard to believe it is that time of year again.
The popcorn sale sheets will be going out soon. Once the
Scouts receive them, they can start selling right away.
Please make sure they do not throw away anything. The prize
list will be included. For more information on Trails End
popcorn, visit www.trails-end.com.
If every Scout sells $150, we will have exceeded last years
goal. Pack 47 will receive 32% of the profits this year
instead of 30%, plus prizes for the Scouts. For anything
above and beyond of sales from last year, we will get 50%
of the profits. If the Scouts decide not to take the prize,
we can receive an additional 5%. This will have to be discussed
within the dens.

When selling door-to-door,
Scouts should be dressed in uniform. People are
more receptive to our fundraising efforts when
they see the Cub Scout uniforms. |
| |
Be friendly and make
eye good contact when talking. |
| |
Always say "thank
you" whether or not a sale is made. |
| |
Remember, you are representing
all the Cub Scouts. Make a good impression. |
|
Order forms are due in October. Please write your prize
selection (include patch or pin) at the bottom of your order
form and drop them off at the Black Point Congregational
Church.
Popcorn will be ready for pickup in November.
In addition to door-to-door sales, we will once again have
some "Show & Sell" dates at Shaw's and Sams
Club, where we will have a popcorn sales table set up. Sams
Club has agreed to match what we sell and provide Pack 47
with a check at the end of the second showing. See the schedule
below for a list of times. Each Den has been assigned a
two hour slot. Please check with your den leader if you
have any questions.
Thank you for your time and effort. Have a
great sale and a great year of scouting!
